Citizen Cope Enjoys Glen David Andrews

When Glen David Andrews played Sullivan Hall on March 29, everyone was curious to see what the NOLA trumpet player would bring to the table. Even Citizen Cope stopped by to hang and check out the show. It was a great night, and Andrew's soulful performance reinforced the massive talent within those Andrews family genes.

Dino Perruci caught some great shots of the night, including the one of Cope, Andrews, and Dirty Red pictured above. Check them out at HERE.

Dr. John is a legend in his own right, and is doing two very rare intimate performances in New York City for Nolafunk.com’s Mardi Gras Weekend. What makes his upcoming New York City shows even more special are the bands that will be supporting him. Not only are there superb openers each night (Marco Beneventoand his band and Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds), but High & Mighty Brass Band and Soul Rebels Brass Band will be following Dr. John’s performances. And to keep the funky spirit grooving all through the Mardi Gras Ball, DJ Cochon De Lait will be spinning in between sets at Le Poisson Rouge.
